Money Week Houston
Money Week Houston is a week long public awareness campaign promoting financial literacy to all ages and demographics. The event was originally scheduled for September 14-20, 2008 but had to be postponed due to Hurricane Ike.
Money Week Houston is the largest city-wide financial literacy event and will take place on April 19-25, 2009.
Money Week Houston has scheduled more than 250 financial education events aimed at helping you to become money smart about your finances.
Money Week Houston is a coordinated effort by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas - Houston Branch, The FDIC Alliance for Economic Inclusion, financial institutions, non-profits, schools, libraries, government agencies, colleges, universities and the media to advance financial literacy education.
Programming is offered to all demographics and income levels and covers all facets of finance from establishing a budget to first time home buying to estate planning.
